Maiko Endo, director of Tokyo Telepath (2020), has made a short film by Maiko Endo, director of “KUICHISAN” and “TECHNOLOGY. The film is a collaboration with the “Inami Jizai-Body Project,” a group of researchers at The University of Tokyo, who are researching body augmentation that allows a human body to join together with a machine or AI.
Synopsis: A boy, whose body is combined with a robot, is creating body parts to expand the limits of human capabilities. He is able to communicate simultaneously with two other children in separate locations through the use of specially made glasses and robots. Their interactions transcend the time and space of the real world.
