I ended up watching City Hunter (1993), the Guillermo del Toro film Mimic (1997) and the neo-noir Bound (1996) and these productions are so good looking while also having great acting and thrilling/fun stories. There’s definitely more than a nostalgia hit to get this feeling.

This is the fourth film adaptation of My Hero Academia and it tells the original story of a major incident that took place just before the final battle depicted in the seventh season of the TV anime.
Synopsis: All Might beat the giant All for One and retired as the number one hero and passes the mantle of herohood to Deku and the other students who next have to face Tomura Shigaraki. In a pause in the fighting, a mysterious giant fortress appears and swallows the city and a new enemy, Dark Might, a figure who looks exactly like All Might but has the exact opposite beliefs, fights Deku.

Synopsis: This documentary looks at an instance of mass poisoning at a summer festival in Wakayama in 1998 after 67 people fell ill and four people died after eating curry containing arsenic. Masumi Hayashi was given the death sentence in 2009 but she has maintained that she is innocent. Through investigating eyewitness accounts, the science behind the prosecution, and a case of insurance fraud committed by Masumi’s husband, the film attempts to challenge the Supreme Court’s verdict of death. The film also talks to Masumi’s son and reveals how he came to believe in his mother’s innocence.

Synopsis: After losing part of her memory due to a car accident, a woman who works in a real estate agency encounters a “creature in a shoe” and the moment Yuri puts her foot through the shoe, mysterious images and the voice of someone enter her mind and Yuri discovers a truth about the past.

He has developed an interest in how people can live with nature and this documentary looks at the link between creatures and nature through excrement and corpses.
