This is the second feature-length film for Oshiri Tantei following his clash with Shiriarty in 2022. Just to think, this Butthead started out in 2019 in a short. The voice actors have stayed consistent and are joined by Riisa Naka (Mitsuko Delivers).
Synopsis: Oshiri Tantei once had a partner named Suisen (Daffodil) but she disappeared 10 years ago. Since then, he has been solving crimes solo. However, out of the blue, he gets a message from Suisen warning him that many paintings have been replaced with forgeries at an art museum where she works, and that other museums around the country are experiencing the same thing. It turns out that a secret society is making counterfeits. In order to stop them, Oshiri Tantei must team up with Suisen but discovers that she has changed since the last time he saw her…

Synopsis: This short animated spin-off version of Oshiri Tantei, which features side characters trying to catch Kaito U. It was directed by Emi Tezuka, who also directed the TV series. It will play alongside the above film.

This is the first of a two-part anime movie that it based on a manga by Inio Asano (Oyasumi Punpun).
It has been adapted for the screen by Reiko Yoshida, a veteran writer whose credits go back to the 90s and include Digimon, Emma: A Victorian Romance, and A Silent Voice, and Violet Evergarden) and Tomoyuki Kurokawa, a journeyman director who has worked on titles like Psycho-Pass, Un-Go, and .HACK//SIGN.
Synopsis: Three years ago, a giant spaceship parked itself over Tokyo as aliens “threatened” to destroy the Earth. The Japanese government went into action mass-producing weapons in preparation for a war with the invaders. However, nothing like that quite transpired as people eventually resumed their normal lives with the aliens blending in while their “mother ship” hangs ominously in the sky. Two high school girls, Kadode Koyama and Ouran Nakagawa, a.k.a. “Ontan,” live a normal school life and learn what it means to be an adult and how adults, not aliens, might be the real threat to humanity.
