Her friend Izumi suggests that she participate in an event called “Fried Food Stamp Rally” and partner up with Koji Hirose, an aspiring novelist and food writer, to help Rui meet people with various “differences” in the process.

The youngest sister is unmarried and pregnant. Each woman confronts her problems at the reunion.

This is the 4K restoration of Shinji Somai’s beloved cult film. It is considered to be one of the greatest Japanese films ever made and it will get a Blu-Ray release courtesy of Third Window Films.
Synopsis: A coming-of-age drama set in a provincial city on the outskirts of Tokyo, a group of junior high school students find themselves confronting fears, hopes, desires and finding growth in the days before, during, and after a typhoon.
