Today is the day! I have been doing a lot of writing recently and it is now available to see on the Osaka Asian Film Festival 2024 website. I’ve got other stuff coming but, for now, I can relax and read what I wrote… again!

The title of the film, “Sampaguita,” is the name of the national flower of the Philippines and, in flower language, Sampaguita has the meaning of “pledge of eternal love.”
Synopsis: Emilia is a Filipina working as a model in Japan. She meets a photographer named Miki and the two fall in love. He documents their time together, intent on capturing their love but then an unexpected parting happens which shifts the story to the Philippines.
