Welcome to the third and final trailer post of the week

DOOR Keiko Takahashi 4

You can find the first trailer post here and the second trailer post here.

Well, one review this week and it was my annual Halloween one. It was dedicated to the suspense-thriller/slasher/stalker movie DOOR by Banmei Takahashi. It was released by Third Window Films at the beginning of the week (Oct 30). Highly recommended, not least because you can get a second film DOOR II as part of the release – review for that one coming next week.

Following on from the Heroic Purgatory episode dedicated to Brian De Palma’s Carrie (1976), I’ll be taking part in a recording of an episode covering Lady Snowblood, a film I haven’t watched since I was a teenager.

In terms of films watched – outside of horror movies, I covered the rest of the JFF+ releases with titles like A Muse Never Drowns, Tenzo, An Artisan’s Legacy, Tsunekazu Nishioka, and Follow the Light.

What are the other films released this weekend?
