Yukihiko Tsutsumi, director of 20th Century Boys and 2LDK, makes this self-reflective film that is based in the theatre world and features a cast of young actors who are active on the stage.
Synopsis: A seven-member theatre troupe named Gekidan Seven is popular with youngsters. They accept a new member into their ranks just as they go into production with a new play called “Shakespeare Legends” where various characters from Shakespeare’s plays are brought together. However, things become uneasy after the death of their leader, Soga, and the rehearsals don’t go well due to infighting. On the day of the final rehearsal, the “generalprobe”, the troupe learn a secret which throws everything into confusion. However, the show must go on!
