This is the first chapter of the third season of a new anime adaptation of Yoshiki Tanaka’s epic science fiction novel The Legend of the Galactic Heroes produced by Production I.G.
Synopsis: Two interstellar human states – the Galactic Empire and the Free Planets Alliance – are locked in a seemingly never-ending conflict and two leaders emerge, Reinhard von Lohengramm from the Galactic Empire and Yang Wen-li from the Free Planets Alliance. For Reinhard, a broken heart follows his ascent to the leadership position of the Galactic Empire as a close ally died in the process. Meanwhile, Yang Wen-li handling of a coup d’etat by the Military Council for Salvation has politicians growing wary of him. is growing, and politicians who cling to power are becoming increasingly wary of him. The key flashpoint here is the seemingly impregnable Iserlohn Fortress where a battle will take place.

This is based on a smartphone game that was released in 2017. The game puts the player in the position of a producer trying to train a group of actors. Each group is themed after a particular season. This is the film for the Autumn and Winter batch. Spring and Summer came out last year.
Synopsis: Veludo, “Velvet Way,” is a street in a suburb of Tokyo where theatre companies operate. It is here that one particular company is languishing in debt and on the verge of being shut down. The film audience’s point of view will overlap with that of the female POV character, a former actress who, after receiving a mysterious letter, discovers this troupe and unexpectedly becomes the director in order to try and bring it back to its original glory. The victory conditions? Gather enough members for four units (Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter) within the year, and to succeed in all four performances.
In this film, Spring and Summer have had a successful launch but Autumn and Winter are struggling.
