This is the third film in the franchise.
Synopsis: Dako (Masami Nagasawa), Boku-chan (Masahiro Higashide) and Richard (Fumiyo Kohinata) head to Malta in a competition to claim a title given to the most skilled Confidence Man of a generation. What thy need to do is get the “Dancing Venus,” an ancient Greek sculpture in the possession of the mafia, all while Interpol are on the hunt for all involved.

This is the first movie based on Leiji Matsumoto’s Galaxy Express 999 manga.
Synopsis: In the far future, humanity can achieve immortality by exchanging their flesh-and-blood body for a mechanical one manufactured on a distant planet. This, however, is something only available to the mega rich who can make the journey and purchase the body. A rumour of there being a special train called the Galaxy Express 999 which will take people to the planet so they can get a mechanical body for free draws a young boy named Tetsuro Hoshino and his mother go to Megalopolis, where the Galaxy Express 999 train stops, but after the death of his mother at the hands of the evil robot Count Mecha, Tetsuro is left finding for himself as a thief in the slums of Megalopolis, dreaming of revenge. One day, after a police chase, he meets a beautiful woman named Maetel. She resembles his mother and offers him a pass to get on the Galaxy Express 999 to get a robotic body and to get revenge on Count Mecha. On their journey, Tetsuro learns what it means to be human.
