Synopsis: This is director Arata Oshima’s Why You Can’t Be Prime Minister?, which followed Junya Ogawa and his struggle to make an impact on Japanese politics as he works on campaigning for a seat in the House of Representatives, and losing more than winning, then the extent of his work in Kagawa’s 1st district. This film follows another campaign but also includes Ogawa and his opponents, particularly Takuya Hirai, a member of the Liberal Democratic Party and a third-generation lawmaker. Hirai’s family that owns Shikoku Shimbun and Nishi-nippon Broadcasting, narrowly defeated Ogawa in the last general election in 2017. Can Ogawa beat him? The trailer gives it away!
