Synopsis: A documentary following the lives of people in a mountain village located in Kochi Prefecture where the community make kozo, a special type of paper from mulberry trees. This kozo paper is transformed into washi that is said to be durable for more than 1,000 years. The skills to make this paper have been passed down from generation to generation but it is now becoming rarer because the culture surrounding washi is fading away in the face of mass-produced goods and a lack of people to take up the mantle of making kozo. Thus, this film documents a rare skill and asks audiences to examine the goods that we consume in society.

This puzzles both Hikaru and Hinata who try to work out just what happened.
